SPHR Test Prep Scheduled and Funded
I'm very excited about starting test prep classes at California State University Channel Islands (CSUCI) on September 25th, with the goal of passing the HRCI SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) exam in December. I am very grateful for all the help that the good people at the Ventura WIB (Workforce Investment Board) have given me, including funding.

The World is My Garden
When I'm out and about, I always have a camera with me, even if it's just my iPhone. I recently put together a collection of colorful flowers in a photo essay that I call, "The Garden."
Public Speaking Engagements
During my job search, I kept my training skills sharp by making several presentations each month, mostly to job clubs and other groups geared towards helping those in transition to become employed. Most of these events are free and open to the public. As more events are scheduled, I will post them here. However, due to my current contract assignment, I am only available evenings and weekends. Previous presentations have included:

I am currently offering a new presentation, "Behavioral Interviews – How to make a memorable impression." This training helps job seekers to understand what a behavioral interview is, how they can prepare for it, and how they can set themselves apart from their competition.
